Whether you need a problem fixed, help setting up a device, or guidance on using technology more confidently, we're here to help.

What area do you serve?We currently serve Lyme Bay and the surrounding areas, across East Devon, Dorset & Southern Somerset.

How much does it cost?All services are charged at £30/hr and delivered through home visits. There is a minimum charge of £30, which includes standard call-out to your address and the first hour of service.

Why is a long-distance call-out more expensive?TechWise serves a wide geographical area. Charging extra for long-distance call-outs allows us to serve this wide area, while ensuring that customers are never unfairly paying for travel costs that they have not incurred.

How do I book an appointment?You can call or message Harry on 07887 028 528. Simple enquiries can often get a quicker response via emailing info@gettechwise.co.uk or sending a message through our Facebook page.

What if I need to change or cancel my appointment?Don't worry! We understand that plans can change, emergencies can happen, and we aim to be as flexible as possible. If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please keep the following in mind: ✅ More than 24 hours’ notice: No problem! Just get in touch as soon as possible, and we’ll find a new time that works for you. ⚠️ Less than 24 hours’ notice: Cancellations with short notice may result in a £15 cancellation fee, as it is difficult to fill the time slot on short notice. 🚫 Missed appointments (no-show): If you're unavailable upon arrival for a scheduled appointment, and no attempt has been made to notify us as above, the full £30 minimum charge will still apply. Please help us avoid this from happening - it is not how we like to do business. 💡 How to Cancel or Reschedule: Simply call or message Harry on 07887 028 528, info@gettechwise.co.uk or our Facebook page as soon as you know you need to make a change. What are your hours of service?Home visit appointments are usually offered between 10 AM and 5 PM, Monday to Thursday. These dedicated service hours ensure focused, high-quality support is provided for every client.

Do you offer support over the internet or telephone?At the moment we only offer home visits, as hands-on support is often the best way to tailor learning to individuals and solve tech problems.

Do you repair dropped, smashed or otherwise physically broken devices?No, but there are a number of businesses across Devon, Dorset & Somerset that do offer this service. A search on Google (or another search engine) such as 'computer repairs near me' will show your local options. Most computer repair shops will also repair mobile phones & tablets.

How long is my voucher valid?Vouchers are valid for 24 months from the date of purchase, and can be used flexibly to suit you. Vouchers can be redeemed in part or in full, in minimum increments of one hour. The expiry date is printed at the bottom of your voucher.

Can I get a refund on my voucher?No, vouchers are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged (other than for their remaining valid hours of service).

How will I (or the recipient) receive my voucher?After purchase you’ll receive an automated email, this will only contain a download link for a generic 'Thank-you' image. The actual Gift Voucher - with a Unique Voucher Number (UVN) - will be sent separately to the email address provided at checkout, usually within 2 business days. This voucher can then be forwarded or printed and given to the recipient, who quotes their UVN at point of booking to redeem it.

How do I redeem my voucher?To redeem your voucher, simply quote your Unique Voucher Number (UVN) at the time of booking to access your gifted service hours. Vouchers can be redeemed in part or in full, in minimum increments of one hour.

What should I do if I haven't received my voucher within 2 business days?Vouchers require manual processing, so during particularly busy periods it may take slightly longer to receive your voucher. Please allow 4 business days for voucher delivery before getting in contact at info@gettechwise.co.uk or 07887 028 528.
